This free beta is based on community feedback from thousands of players who have already played, tested and provided their thoughts on the two previous public tests on everything from unit balance to optimization improvements. “Their new experience allows lovers to experience “Realism Mode”, which offers greater opportunities to disabling and capturing enemy vehicles, fewer visual warnings about their units’ health, a more limited range of firepower for weapons, and many more gameplay changes. There are no battalions and no echelons, where players make calls in their forces based on a combination of the individual timers of each unit, as well as the player’s own resource pool. Players can select the countries they wish to play as, and in each match players will be able to quickly open their own door to all their units. In the open beta, players will have the opportunity to play Classic modes of the Second World War, a highly-requested feature, which will bring players back to the multiplayer experience of the previous men of War games. The team confirmed the game’s third and final Open beta will take place on Thursday, 10 August, and conclude on Monday, 14 August. The publisher of Indie games Fulqrum and developer Best Way announced that Men of War II would be released in September, but not before it gets a single word.
